Checkmate FAQ
Basics

To view and perhaps download the 10-to-100 item templates and print them, go to checkmate.ph and click on Template. Then, choose the desired test template for your test.

Make sure the room is well-lit. The checker has torch at the bottom. Tap Torch to use the phones flashlight/torch.

Ball pens are the ideal tool to use for shading. It is possible to use pencils, but to check accurately, make sure the circles are shaded thoroughly and give enough lighting to the papers while checking.

One trick for this would be changing the answer key. Another one is by changing the score via the CSV file of the record when submission. However we do not promote or we discourage such actions so that transparency towards the students are exercised.

If via mobile application, on the application's dashboard, tap on Open Record, then tap on the three vertical dots on the upper-right. A drop-down menu occurs, tap on Delete and input the name of the record you wanted to delete. Once done, tap on the red delete button for confirmation.

Mobile

The minimum Android version is 5.0(Lollipop) and up. The phone must have a camera, and camera resolution of at least 5MP and up.

We do recommend the following:
1.) Make sure you already have a copy of the scores saved on your phone. Secure one saved on your laptop or computer.
2.) Clear your phone cache memory.
3.) Update the application.

For Checkmate's initial implementation, the purchasing of premium record slots are only available via the mobile application. Install the mobile application via Google Play Store, create an account, log in, and on the dashboard's "Premium Record Slot" section, tap on "Buy Slot" to be redirected on the Buy Premium page.

If via the mobile application, on the dashboard, tap on the "gear-like" icon on the upper-left or the Settings to be directed on your Account Settings. Once done, tap on Change Password, the input the Current Password of your account followed by your New Password and on the second text box to confirm. Tap on Save to continue.

You can edit via your web browser or the mobile application itself.

First, try sorting the records you have by Name, Date Modified, or Date Created. If the first method won't work, try closing your app first and open it again or perhaps, restart the application. Try updating your application if the first and second statement don't work. If the same error persists, contact us via our Contact Us page.

Message us on Facebook or Twitter social media support accounts or send us an email via checkmate.toolkit@gmail.com and we'll resolve it as soon as possible.
